Enriched Air Nitrox Diver Course

What's the Enriched Air Diver (EANx) certification all about?

Welcome to one of our most popular specialties – the Enriched Air Diver course. Diving with enriched air nitrox lets you safely extend your no stop time beyond the no decompression limits for air. Diving with enriched air means more time underwater – but you need to be certified as an Enriched Air Diver to get enriched air fills.

Whether you’re into underwater photography or wreck diving, on vacation in some tropical paradise or just out for a leisurely day of diving at your local dive site, the Enriched Air Diver course helps you get more out of diving by giving you more time underwater.

What are the requirements?

PADI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent certification from another recognized organization

What will I do?

During the Enriched Air Nitrox diver course, you'll use PADI's state-of-the-art eLearning system to learn to safety increase your no-decompression limits, plan enriched air nitrox dives using dive computers, learn how to analyze your cylinder contents, and dive using Enriched Air Nitrox up to 40% oxygen.

How long will it take?

You will take the course online with PADI eLearning at your own convenience. Complete the course at a pace and location that is comfortable for you, anywhere you have internet access.

Then, meet an instructor for about an hour at Scuba Frisco to complete a couple of practical application exercises.
Open Water dives are NOT required for certification.
