COVID-19 Operational Updates
Updated on 6/18/2020 @ 3:00PM
Great news! We are excited to announce that Scuba Frisco has reopened effective Monday, May 4. Our dive center will be operating Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm.
When visiting Scuba Frisco, we ask that you please continue to be cautious and keep social distancing in mind. We would also appreciate if you wear a mask when inside the store and use hand sanitizer. Please refrain from visiting if you are feeling unwell or may have been exposed to COVID-19. We are all trying to stay healthy as we work to ramp back up to normal operations over the coming weeks and months.
Our pool facility at The Colony Aquatic Park will reopen June 22. Until then, pool training will be occurring on a case-by-case basis utilizing our backup facilities. Open Water training activities have resumed. eLearning courses are still available for purchase and participation 24/7.
As the COVID situation remains very fluid, we continue to offer all levels of training. However, students divers will be scheduled on a case-by-case basis, often with a customized training schedule. Our staff will work closely with each student diver to ensure training goals are met in a timely manner while maximizing safety for both students and staff. Your course schedule and location may not match those that are presented on our website. Please verify your class date, time, and location with our staff.
During the down time we have been studying recommendations issued by health authorities and Divers Alert Network (DAN) on how best to mitigate COVID-19 as we restart operations. Scuba Frisco will be implementing several new protocols based on these recommendations. We ask that you please be patient with and carefully follow the instructions of our staff and dive crew as we work together to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
We would like to thank all of our divers for your patience and support as we work together through these tough times.
