Trips by Scuba Frisco
Off and Diving in Cozumel
Quintana Roo, Mexico
August 31 - September 4, 2019
Cozumel reefs are a Natural Protected Area. The island is a world known spot for Scuba Divers. The crystal-clear waters of the ocean, all the incredible dive sites and colorful marine life surrounding it makes it one of the best places in the world for divers.
We’ll be taking a private small boat and divemaster-guide for our group of certified divers with a reliable, local, knowledgeable dive operation. We get to pick our preferred dive sites and enjoy the magic of diving at night. We’ll be diving Nitrox during day dives so we can extend our bottom time.
The beautiful boutique hotel where we are staying is only 2 miles from downtown which makes it ideal if we want to explore the island! We will have rental bicycles available if we want to tour around and we will also enjoy the beautiful sunsets from our ocean view room.
Cabo Plumo Expedition
Baja California, Mexico
November 30 - December 4, 2019
December 7 - 11, 2019
Cabo Pulmo is a National Park and Marine Reserve. This area has been protected from fishing and commercial diving of any kind since 1995.
The Cabo Pulmo bay is home to the only living hard coral reef in the Sea of Cortez. The reef lies 18 meters below the surface and consists of 6 main fingers of coral that provide a near perfect environment for a huge variety of colorful tropical fish.
This area is also very attractive to various sea mammals, invertebrates, seabirds and marine plants. The nutrient-rich waters and enormous amounts of plankton create a food chain that makes Cabo Pulmo a paradise for scuba divers.
The landscape is desert-like, with a relatively dry climate during most of the year. The climate is sunny and it’s never cold.
