The Diving
Key Largo is just a short drive from Miami, located in the Upper Keys. Rainbow Reef Dive Center in Key Largo has everything you'll need for your diving adventure in the beautiful Florida Keys! We've got the best of diving here, everything from extensive coral reefs, artificial reefs, wrecks, ledges, walls and centuries old shipwrecks. Oh, and don't forget the fish! Depths range from 18-120 feet, with each dive site offering its own unique qualities! Our dive charters will hit all the great spots, from Key Largo's Elbow Reef down to Islamorada's Conch Wall. You may dive famous sites such as Molasses Reef, French Reef, wreck of USCGC Duane, wreck of the Benwood, and even the USS Spiegel Grove.
The dive boats are EPA Tier III rated - the best for the environment - versus the smokey, nauseating diesels of days past. The boats are designed for maximum functionality and comfort for divers. The larger boats also handle the weather better, which will make your diving trip with us the best experience possible.
All dive boats are equipped with well maintained equipment and engines, along with the latest in technology such as GPS, depth finders, ship to shore radio, and EPIRB's - all for your safety and comfort while on board.

Kayak Through Mangrove Trails
The first undersea park in the United States, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park encompasses approximately 70 nautical square miles. While the mangrove swamps and tropical hammocks in the park's upland areas offer visitors a unique experience. Enjoy a kayak tour through many miles of mangrove trails.
Learn About Your Diving History
The History of Diving Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, displaying, and interpreting artifacts, antiques, books, documents, photographs, and oral history relative to the History of Diving. It tells the international story of man’s attempts to explore, understand, and venture under the sea. It also celebrates the special role that South Florida and the Florida Keys played in this story.
Meet Some Amazing Sea Turtles
The Turtle Hospital opened its doors 1986 with four main goals: 1) rehab injured sea turtles and return them to their natural habitat, 2) educate the public through outreach programs and visit local schools, 3) conduct and assist with research aiding to sea turtles (in conjunction with state universities), and 4) work toward environmental legislation making the beaches and water safe and clean for sea turtles. Guests are invited to take a guided educational tour of the hospital facilities and the sea turtle rehabilitation area. This educational experience lasts approximately 90 minutes and provides a presentation on sea turtles as well as a behind the scenes look at the hospital facilities and rehabilitation area. At the end of each program guests are invited to feed the permanent residents.
