I am originally from Germany. I came to the US in 1992 with the German Air Force and was stationed in El Paso, Texas. While in the service I joined a local dive store in May 1993 and took class after class until I became an instructor in November 1994. I love diving and being able to teach the incredible experience to other people.
My philosophy is that everyone can learn to dive and be safe doing so. Safety is my number one concern. I have been teaching now 26 years and love every class I ever had. I also was involved in managing the store in El Paso for many years, and still today work as an equipment technician for Scuba Frisco.

Maldives and the Rivera Maya.
What's the best thing about diving?
The quiet time and hearing nothing but bubbles.
What's the coolest thing you've seen or experienced while diving?
So many things, but one of the coolest things was when a pacific red octopus came up to me and crawled up my left arm all the way to my head and then sat on my mask for a while and then went down my right arm. That was crazy exciting.
